The restaurants are never opened on Sundays as the management believes that their employees deserve a day off with their families and friends. The history of Chick-fil-A can be traced back to 1946 with establishment of The Dwarf Grill. The restaurant was founded by Samuel Truett Cathy who was greatly inspired by family business. The launch of Chick-fil-A in 1967 was highly marked by the invention of chicken breast sandwich. This became Chick-fil-A trade mark.
